Colt Automation

Brand Guidelines
Graphic Design
Video Production

I was hired at Colt Automation as a Social Media Marketing Assistant for a summer internship in 2022. I was tasked with creating graphics and videos for the company social media. As well as run the social media, looking for patterns and trends to curate the most effective content for brand awareness and image. I have a collection of a few of my favourite graphics and videos that can be seen below.

Whilst at Colt, one major task I was given was to redesign the company's "brochure" that they use to give to clients at meetings, trade shows etc. There had been a few previous designs that my supervisors were not thrilled with, and urged me to take the challenge on. It was a long process figuring out different layouts, while also establishing a sense of cohesion. It was a fun overtaking, as I had never designed for print before. Here are some of my favourite pages (render of cover seen at the top).

Another task given to me was to create graphic designs and videos for company use at trade shows. I had to create an 8 ft x 8 ft art piece for a booth backdrop, as well as a massive truss cover. Both had to be created carefully, to make sure eyes were drawn towards it on a hall floor. I also made a video loop, that would be played on screens at these events that onlookers could view.

I also was charged with creating videos that would explain how the very complicated machines operated. It would be used in sales meetings, and pitches - to help the client get a better, more clear understanding of how the machinery worked. This was an interesting task, as I had never really worked with animations like this before. It was a fun challenge, and one that I relished in.
